Our familyl has really been working on eating healthy and incorporating "new" foods. We want our kids to grow up with a wide variety of tastes that they enjoy and last month we focused on grains. We tried couscous, Quinoa, and our favorite healthy grain is Kamut Khorasan Wheat! Thanks for sharing these healthy ideas :)

I love the recipes and like to print them. However, can you have a printer friendly option to print just the recipe and not 5 pages of "junk" just to get the recipe?
Thanks.

They are all pretty delicious to me! However, I tend to alter recipes sometimes, especially if I don't have all the exact ingredients, or I want change the taste. Mostly, I double or triple the recipe to save the time. In this case, the nutrition value may be somewhat changed. Oh, this is too much to worry about when I'm hungry, isn't it?!

There are very few vegan choices in the recipe list. And I agree with several other comments that the nutritional information with the recipes would be nice.

I have been eating a receipe that I adapted from a place I ate. It is a bowl with brown rice on bottom then your choice of beans I like black beans in the muddle then you put choice of sherred cheese, then microwave for 1 minute til cheese melts,go from there to sliceing some black olives and avacado, then mixing in sparated bowl sour cream and green mexi sauce together and put a dollup on top with clintro if you like it and stir up yummi

For the vegetarians our there you can always substitute, soy products like tofu or tempeh, or even a nice slab of portobello mushroom if you desire. For the hard core vegetarians check out the blog 101 cookbooks for great vegetarian meals. The fact is the article is about high protein foods and your body is evolved to process the proteins found in meat better than any other source. It is important to eat lean (organic if possible) meat sources and most natural foods are great for you in moderation. Meat is the most natural protein source for humans, it is simple evolution. Thanks WH for the great recipes!

I can't believe almost all these recipes have meat in them. You should try to find more for vegetarians.
