Well, I missed 4. Kind of surprised gummy bears weren't included in the quiz (my fiance's favorite!)

After the plethora of candy my children received during their trick-or-treating this year... I am glad to have given most of it away to my husband's co-worker's. I don't think a little candy is too harmful on the holiday; but when you go through this questionaire, you begin to realize how much sugar they could be consuming.

sherbeth2- as much as I enjoyed the calories per gram reminder and the visual picture of licking a sugar bowl, I wonder if you really understand what YOU are teaching sweet and innocent children. You sound like you have food and guilt issues, is that what you really want to teach kids? Should the goal instead be trying teach kids the benefits of healthy food and to eat a little candy in celebration of a holiday is not the guilty-ridden experience you make it out to be.

Let's not focus so much on how much we can eat for 100 calories and let's talk about how unhealthy candy...sugar, that is...actually is for us. 100 calories of candy is mostly sugar. There are approximately 25 grams of sugar..give or take for a minute amount of protein or fat based on the chosen candy...per 100 calorie serving. That's roughly 6 teaspoons of pure sugar. Try it. Take your sugar bowl and eat 6 teaspoons of sugar. How was it? Feeling satisfied? Feeling guilty? The artifically-flavored candy may taste good but it's the same as eating 6 teaspoons of pure sugar straight from your sugar bowl. Trick-or-treat anyone? Don't feed this crap to yourself or yours or anyone else's innocent children.

wow - just in time for the holidays. Good timing. Those tiny little "fun size" candies look so innocent. I agree with both Sherbeth2 & Danaskully64. Everything in moderation :)

I don't eat a lot of candy, but when I do, I don't stress whether it's 100 calories or 150. I don't like to associate guilt with food.

It says I'm pretty calorie savvy, but I want to know exactly how well I scored! How many did I miss and I should have gotten that york peppermint patty one right...junior mints are basically the same thing and they are one of the best low calorie/fat candy I LOVE. I look at the labels all the time.

Wow! I really don't pay attention to the calories when i grab a fun size candy. Now I that I know what a 100 calories look like, I'll definitely be more careful.

Done very well on quiz..love my chocolate candy, but I see how easy it is to eat more than 100 calories. I now just think about the time I would have to spend on the treadmill, that works for me everytime..lol

I am a chocoholic so I knew the calories on almost all of them (should have guessed with the plain M&M's - 1 bag is only 220 or something like that). The other candies, not so much a fan of.
