The Gynecologic Cancer Foundation recently surveyed 1,006 young women 19 to 25 years old on their knowledge of cervical health.
Approximately 1 in 5 women reported that they had “no clue” what their cervix does and only half of the women said they felt they could identify their cervix on a picture of the reproductive organs.
